Our theme for 2025 are the letters of the apostle Paul found in the Bible. We are going to journey through some of his writings, beginning by looking at the book of Philippians. We will be considering where we hear the words of Jesus himself echoed in the writings of Paul. We will also be tackling some of the more difficult passages in Paul which don’t sit too comfortably with today’s cultural norms. Paul is not giving us a blueprint for every situation in life, but is encouraging us to be transformed by the Holy Spirit so we can think ‘Christianly’, in a more Christ-like way, in a world so often at odds with His Word.

  • this year our verse is …

‘Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.’ Romans 12.2
