Thank you for reaching out to find a place to worship whilst you are studying. We are only a bus journey/cycle ride away from your uni. This is general introduction (you can find more on this website or our Facebook or instagram but hopefully it will give you a feel of who we are. We’d love to welcome you to one of our services (or to our coffee shop!).
St Martins is a CofE, friendly, family community who have supported students in the past. We have two services on every Sunday, 9am Traditional and 11am contemporary, there is also a first Sunday of the month ‘unplugged’ 6.30pm service. We are affiliated with New Wine.
We reach out into the community with a highly regarded coffee shop, open Tues-Fri 9-2 & Saturday 9.30-12.30) a Gospel Choir, a monthly Repair Cafe and allotments which grow produce for the cafe and are also open for the local community to use. Much of our power comes from ground based solar panels.
We live stream our 11am service to FB and YouTube every week.
When you arrive, tell our welcome team that you are a visiting student as we would love to give you a simple student welcome pack.(includes a gift card for a coffee and light meal at Revive)
New to the city?
St Martin-in-the-Fields is conveniently situated in the neighbouring parish to the University of Warwick and easy to get to from both the university’s central campus as well as the city centre for those studying at Coventry University or elsewhere in the city. We love being in a university city with the vibrant diversity it brings and would encourage you to visit our church and make us your home.
St Martin’s Church is situated on Green Lane South, close to Finham Park Secondary School and the Green Lane Medical Centre. It is just off the A45 and about 10 minutes by car from the City centre. Car parking is available both in front and behind the church. Buses that serve Finham are 9, 60, 12X and X17.
